Your LimitLog dashboard is your command center for tracking all your SaaS subscriptions. Here's everything you need to know about using it effectively.
Summary Widgets
At the top of your dashboard, you'll find four summary cards that give you instant insights into your subscriptions:
- Total Monthly Spending — Your combined SaaS costs with daily average
- Cost Breakdown — Visual bar chart showing spending by app
- Smart Insights — Alerts about renewals, limits, and underutilized subscriptions
- Usage Efficiency — See which apps are giving you the best value
App Cards
Each subscription is displayed as a card with all the information you need at a glance:
The card shows:
- App logo & name — Visual identification with brand colors
- Billing period — Monthly or yearly indicator
- Usage display — Current usage vs. limit (e.g., "234 / 500 requests")
- Progress bar — Color-coded visual indicator
- Remaining count — How many units left until your limit
- Reset date — When your usage resets
- Quick add buttons — +1, +5, +10 to quickly increment usage
Progress Bar Colors
The progress bar color changes based on your usage level:
- Green — Under 70% usage (safe zone)
- Yellow/Orange — 70-90% usage (caution zone)
- Red — Over 90% usage (warning zone)
Favorites Section
Apps marked as favorites appear in a dedicated section at the top of your dashboard for quick access:
To favorite an app, click the star icon on any card. Favorites are perfect for:
- Quick access — Your most-used apps first
- Priority tracking — Focus on what matters
- Organization — Separate important from occasional
Quick Add Buttons
Update your usage instantly with the quick add buttons at the bottom of each card:
- +1 — Perfect for tracking individual uses
- +5 — For moderate batch updates
- +10 — When you've been using heavily
Sidebar Navigation
The left sidebar provides quick access to all sections:
- Dashboard — Your main subscription tracking view
- Notes — Quick notes about your subscriptions
- Tasks — To-do items for subscription management
- Calendar — View upcoming renewals and reset dates
- Settings — Account and subscription settings
View Modes
Grid View
The default view shows apps as cards in a responsive grid that adjusts to your screen size.
List View
Switch to list view for a compact, data-dense layout. Toggle between views using the grid/list icons in the toolbar.
Drag and Drop
Organize your dashboard by dragging apps:
- Click and hold an app card
- Drag to the desired position
- Release to drop
You can also drag apps into or out of the Favorites section.
