General Questions

What is LimitLog?

LimitLog is a dashboard for tracking your SaaS subscriptions and usage limits. It helps you monitor how much you've used of services like Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT, Vercel, and more — so you never hit unexpected limits or overage charges.

Is LimitLog free?

Yes! LimitLog has a free plan that lets you track up to 5 apps with all core features. For unlimited tracking, you can upgrade to Pro for $9/month or $69/year (save 36%).

How is LimitLog different from other subscription trackers?

Most subscription trackers focus on costs. LimitLog focuses on usage limits — the credits, messages, API calls, and other quotas that come with modern SaaS tools. We help you track not just what you pay, but what you get for it.

Do you connect to my accounts?

No. LimitLog uses manual tracking, meaning you enter your usage yourself. This approach:

  • Works with any service (no API needed)
  • Protects your privacy (no account access)
  • Gives you control over your data

Usage Tracking

How do I update my usage?

Three ways:

  1. Quick add buttons — Click +1, +5, or +10 to increment
  2. Direct edit — Click the usage number and type a new value
  3. Edit modal — Open the app menu and select Edit

Does LimitLog automatically track my usage?

Currently, no. You update usage manually. This works with any service and protects your privacy. Automatic tracking for select services is on our roadmap.

How often should I update my usage?

It depends on the app:

  • High-usage apps — Daily or as you use them
  • Moderate usage — Weekly
  • Low usage — Monthly or when you remember

The +1 button makes quick updates easy.

What happens when my limit resets?

If you've set a reset date, LimitLog automatically resets your usage to 0 when that date passes. The reset date then advances to the next cycle.

Apps & Library

How many apps can I track?

  • Free plan: Up to 5 apps
  • Pro plan: Unlimited apps

Can I add apps not in the library?

Yes! Click "Create Custom App" in the Add App modal to add any service with your own settings.

Can I request new apps for the library?

Absolutely! Use the Feedback page to suggest apps. We add new ones regularly based on requests.

Can I edit library app defaults?

Yes. When you add a library app, you can customize all settings (limits, pricing, etc.) to match your specific plan.

Account & Billing

How do I upgrade to Pro?

  1. Go to Settings > Subscription
  2. Click "Upgrade to Pro"
  3. Choose monthly or yearly
  4. Complete payment

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel anytime from Settings > Subscription. You keep Pro access until the end of your billing period.

What happens to my data if I cancel?

Your data is preserved. You revert to the Free plan, which means only your first 5 apps are visible. Upgrade again to restore access to all apps.

Do you offer refunds?

Yes, within 7 days of purchase. Email support@limitlog.com for refund requests.

Privacy & Security

Is my data secure?

Yes. We use industry-standard security:

  • Encrypted data in transit (HTTPS)
  • Encrypted data at rest
  • Secure authentication via Supabase
  • No access to your third-party accounts

Do you sell my data?

Never. Your data is yours. We don't sell, share, or use it for advertising.

Can I export my data?

Pro users can export their data as CSV. Go to Settings > Export Data.

Can I delete my account?

Yes. Go to Settings > Account > Delete Account. This permanently removes all your data.

Technical Questions

Does LimitLog work on mobile?

Yes! LimitLog is fully responsive and works great on phones and tablets. Use any mobile browser to access your dashboard.

Is there a mobile app?

Not yet, but it's on our roadmap. For now, add LimitLog to your home screen for an app-like experience.

Does LimitLog work offline?

No, LimitLog requires an internet connection. Your data is stored securely in the cloud.

Which browsers are supported?

LimitLog works on all modern browsers:
